Tony Starr and Richard Bennett bring back their long retired improv show Nanny & Hoot, last seen in Sydney in 2017. Created from an audience suggestion, these seasoned improvisors create a one-off comedic play from scratch, for that nights audience only and never to be seen again. No plan, no script, no safety net.
Richard Bennett and Tony Starr are long time comedy improvisors from Sydney with a combined 50+ years of improv, comedy, directing and writing experience. They’ve created numerous comedy shows both together and separately, and have trained hundreds of improvisors to do the same. Having done a random one-off show at Adelaide Fringe 2026 while travelling with Blanktown, they thought why not do two more in our own backyard.
