Academy of Improvisation

The home of Australia’s most comprehensive improv curriculum, first to teach the Chicago method, the only improv school serving Sydney’s city, suburbs and online, and publisher of the classic book Inside Improvisation. Founded spontaneously in 2010.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands upon which we teach, learn and perform, the Cammeraygal, Durramuragal and Gadigal peoples of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
